E X P E R I E N C E		ditherdog.   Boston, MA Temporary Junior Designer  6/99-8/99 As an intern at this tiny multimedia design firm, I contributed to a variety of websites, including edu.com & zildjian.com. My tasks included designing web layouts, converting layouts to workable image files, and coding HTML, JavaScript and ASP. I worked with Illustrator, Photoshop, Director, BBEdit, and other software. USInternet Corp.   Minnetonka, MN Web Designer  5/97-8/97 and 5/98-8/98 In the summers of 1997 and 1998 I worked in the web design department of this ISP, working with clients and building small websites from scratch, including ideation, design & execution. Worked on a PC running Windows NT. MVP Marketing + Design, Inc.   Minneapolis, MN Web Consultant  7/98-8/98 As a freelance consultant for this marketing firm, I was responsible for converting designs (in Photoshop format) done by the firm into a functional website, coding HTML and optimizing images. Iowa State University   Ames, IA As a student at Iowa State I have been employed at various times by several arms of the university to construct departmental websites, including for the ISU Honors Program, for Student Legal Services, and for the Graphic Design program.
E D U C A T I O N		Iowa State University, Ames, IA In May 2000 I graduated With Honors and With Distinction from Iowa State University's College of Design, with a BFA in graphic design. I had a minor in Technology and Social Change and a GPA of 3.66.
Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S		I have several years' experience in website planning, design and construction. I have expert knowledge of HTML coding (esp. w/BBEdit), Photoshop, and the Mac OS, and significant familiarity with Windows 95/98, Illustrator, PageMaker, JavaScript and Director. I also have some experience with Premiere, Flash, ASP, C++, ColdFusion, DreamWeaver and Unix, and others. Additionally, I have education in publication, website, identity system and poster design.
