Thanksgiving Picks
November 21st, 2007
OK, so I’ll update Week 11 later. Not sure when I’ll get to Sunday’s picks… it might not be until Saturday night. But, gotta get in Thursday.
Packers @ Detroit(+3.5)
OK, the Lions had their day in the sun. It’s over Packers by a TD.
Jets @ Dallas(-14)
They get to be the Jets this week by virtue of their victory on Sunday. Anyway, this is a whole heck of a lot of points. However, despite the 4th-quarter surge last week, I’m not sure the Cowboys really have the goods to blow out the Jets. Err, wait, what am I saying? These are the Jets! Cowboys cover the big number.
Colts @ Atlanta(+12)
Even all banged up, the Colts are simply a lot better. I’m a little worried about the number of points here, but I think I have to give them.

Packers @ Detroit(+3.5)
I think Detroit is done. I’ll take the Packers. And wow, they are playing well.
Jets @ Dallas(-14)
I don’t see how the Jets can hang with Dallas. Then again, I don’t know how they beat Pittsburgh, and I actually watched the game! There’s simply no way the Jets D line will have so much time to get to Romo because the Cowboys have TO and he’ll be open after those 5 seconds. Blowout.
Colts @ Atlanta(+12)
The Colts have had two awful games in a row. The Falcons are starting Harrington again while Leftwich sits with a dubious back injury (I’m really disappointed with his effort). Dunn is hurt and Coleman is out. Without Coleman they have no defensive presence. Colts win big.
