Picks from Al via email:

Anyway, here are the final regular season picks:

1pm
Colts at Bills -8
Painter vs. Brohm? Eww. This is a lot of points, but I'm going to lay them anyway.

Saints at Panthers -7
Starters or no, the Panthers are just a better team right now, and they'll want to beat on the Saints. They will run. A lot. Give the points.

Jaguars at Browns -1.5
Whatever. As long as Del Rio actually gets carries for Jones-Drew. Also, the Browns and Anderson suck. Take the points.

Bears at Lions +3
The Bears appear to be playing hard for Lovie. I'll give the 3.

Patriots at Texans -7
So this game means nothing to the Patriots? Poppycock. Belicheck hates to lose and won't rest his players until the third quarter. All the pressure is on Houston and they don't play well in that spot. Take the points.

Steelers at Miami +3
Still not sure if Polomalu will play. If he does, I like the Steelers because of the headache he'll give Henne. If he doesn't, I'll take Miami. Can I do that? Gah, I really don't like this game. I'll take Miami and the points.

Giants at Vikings -8
The Vikings are swooning. Favre is done. The Giants will be desperate to perform after last weeks egg. I love getting points here.

Forty-Niners at Rams +8
I like getting points here. The Niners don't score enough to lay this amount of points, especially on the road.

Falcons at Buccaneers +2
The notion going around is that the Falcons want to knock the "no back to back winning seasons" monkey off their back. That's true, but it's also motivation for the Bucs to make sure they don't achieve it. The Falcons are no better than the Buccaneers right now, assuming no turnovers for Freeman. I like getting points.

4pm
Eagles at Cowboys -3
Gulp! I think I'm actually going to trust Romo with this one. He's been playing great! And the Eagles lost their starting center last week, so that will cause some problems. I'll give the 3.

Packers at Cardinals -3.5
This is a tough game to pick ahead of time. The Packers won't play their starters. Neither will Arizona *unless* the Vikings lose, because then they will play for the bye. I guess I have to pick the Cardinals because I have the Giants winning.

Chiefs at Broncos -11
Ridiculous! I think the Chiefs may win this game straight up. I'll take all those points.

Ravens at Raiders +10.5
The Ravens need a win, but they won't blow out the Raiders. I'll take the points.

Redskins at Chargers -3.5
Norv Turner spoke to the media saying his team was going to play all their starters and play hard. I guess that means I have to take the Chargers. I'll give the points.

Titans at Seahawks +4
The Titans want Johnson to break 2000 yards, so they'll play hard. The Seahawks have no heart. I'll give the points.

Bengals at Jets -10
Will the Bengals sit their starters? It's still unknown. I will hedge and take the points with the theory that the Jets love killing their fans. Oh, and it's going to be crazy windy so that means the score will be low, making such a large spread unlikely.
