NFL Week 13

Sunday 1:00
Rams @ Arizona(+6.5)
I just don’t believe in the Cardinals.

Lions @ New England(-13.5)
I fully expect the Pats to win, but that’s too many points.

Niners @ New Orleans(-7)
San Francisco has actually been playing pretty well lately, so I’m going to take these points and hope they keep it close.

Vikings @ Chicago(-9)
Well, the Vikings are terrible, but the Bears have been a little iffy lately so again, I think this is too many points; Bears win by like five, but not nine.

Chiefs @ Cleveland(+5)
The Browns are a joke, give the points.

Falcons @ Washington(-2)
Atlanta is in a tailspin, finger-pointing (of course, at the crowd) and all. Can’t be a good thing, I’ll go with the Redskins.

Jets @ Green Bay(+1.5)
My attempt to curse the Jets last week didn’t work, so perhaps they’ve turned an important corner. I’ll actually pick them thinking they’ll cover!

Colts @ Tennessee(+7.5)
Indy will do just enough to win and nothing more, so this is again too many points.

Sunday ~4:10
Raiders @ Houston(+3)
The Raiders are favored on the road? Hey, that’s some pretty serious disrespect for the Texans. I’ll take the points, thanks much.

Jaguars @ Miami(-1.5)
Two teams headed in opposite directions right now, I’ll take the more southern of the two Florida cities.

Cowboys @ New Jersey Giants(+3.5)
Speaking of teams going in opposite directions, yikes. I don’t see how the spread isn’t bigger, but I’ll happily agree to give a mere 3.5.

Bucs @ Pittsburgh(-7)
Uhh, yeah, this one makes no sense at all–but then, that’s what I said about the Bengals game. Still, I don’t see the Steelers blowing out anyone, even if it is the Bucs. Go Tampa!

Sunday NBC
Seahawks @ Denver(-3)
So far my rule this season has been Denver at home, but not on the road. However, Denver will be starting a rookie and the Seabags should have all the rust off, so I’ll take the points.

MNF
Panthers @ Philly, no line
How is this no line? Well, if I’m picking these two teams straight up, I have to take Carolina over the McNabb-less Iggles, right?
